I use several of Laura Mercier products (I am a fan) - and was surprised that this one was such a disappointment. The product is difficult to apply and after application - settles into creases. Yes, I do use primer. Everytime I have attempted to use this product - end up taking it off - it looks so "fake". Every other item in her line I adore.

I tried this after reading all the recommendations and reviews and wanted to try another concealer (still dealing with aging skin - attempting to age more gracefully than I am!) I cannot figure it out. I am using under eyes and had my picture taken - looked awful! I cannot get it to blend and plan to return it for something a bit creamier and blendable.

I know that Laura Mercier makes a different product specifically for dark under eye circles, but I believe this is the best product around by far. What makes it different than others is that it's not too greasy, so your eyemakeup won't run. That is what was happening to me with all the other concealers I tried which just made my dark circles appear even darker. I absolutely love this product and hope they keep it around forever.

It's so hard to find a perfect concealer. This isn't perfect- it does get a little cakey if you don't apply it with a brush. I only use the yellower side of the concealer as it matches my skin better. That being said it is much better than most other concealers out there.

The Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage came highly recommended to me by several people. It worked really, really well for them.
I will admit up front that I don't have the special Laura Mercier application brush and I do believe in the benefits of a good brush. I've tried applying this with fingertips and cosmetic sponges and it's a nightmare. This stuff is so thick it's just impossible.
